01/03/2006 : SAW
Now I rarely watch DVDs well not since I used to Skive school and get three 'non-new' videos/dvds from the Video shop and stay in all day and watch them when I should have been doing work. In fact the last Video I watched was Police Academy 4 and that was only because it was Christmas and you know what shit you can end up watching at Christmas, not that Police Academy is no good just that we generally watch more TV around that time.
Anyway I was out in town the other day and remembered that My mums fella mentioned this really good film called SAW, he was actually going to lend me it but he had misplaced it, anyway I decided to do the right thing and buy it, you know like a good boy and not buy it off the little Chinese chap that comes round work selling those ones that have been recorded actually in the cinema with people coughing and farting in between. | |

| While I’m on that subject I was absolutely terrified one night when I put one of these DVDs on I bought from him, I totally forgot that it was a snide and thought I could hear people in the house, totally freaking out I was, wasn’t until I heard the popcorn rustling did I realise it was a knock off. |
Anyway my reason for the post is that if you can stomach a horror film then you will love this, I was genuinely blown away by it with more twists than an Oliver casting call.
Heres the plot directly from the film company.
| Adam (Leigh Whannell) and Dr. Lawrence Gordon (Cary Elwes) wake up chained to pipes at opposite ends of a dirty utility room. They soon learn that they have become the victims of the Jigsaw, a serial killer who devises intricate situations to get his victims to kill each other. Pitted against the clock and each other, the two must work to outwit their captor and save Gordon's family, who have been taken hostage by the killer. |

Disclaimer : There is mention of horror in this blog entry if you dont like horror films then I suggest you try the very tame texas chainsaw massacre.
